This modern society that we live in today is wonderful and amazing in so many ways. However, with the information age there’s almost nothing to look forward to. There are no surprises. We know everything immediately and are addicted to it. My husband and I decided that we didn’t want to know the sex of our children long before trying to have them. Honestly, what’s so bad about not knowing anyway? We didn’t find out with Preston and bought neutral things. His nursery was beautiful and completely neutral. I never felt like I was missing out on anything.

So many people tell me that I had to know because they wanted to plan. Now if there’s anything I can do, planning is it! I am a planner and organizer by nature. So it’s not that you can’t plan everything if you don’t know the sex, it’s just that you can’t decide on drenching the child in pink or blue. I’m not knocking people for finding out. Everyone has I feel like if I knew, I’d be projecting a life onto my children before they even get here. I just want healthy babies and I really don’t care if they are boys are girls. I always thought it would be nice to have one of each, but truthfully who cares. I’m about to be a mom of three!
